For Public Release:

For school year 2022-2023, the Child Nutrition Program (CNP) of the Mobile County Public School System will continue to provide breakfast and lunch meals to all students at no charge through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). In order to receive USDA Reimbursement; Mobile County School District must follow the guideline that require all meals must be accountable.  All students will be issue an Identification badge that will be scan at the Point of Sale; this will identify the students and the meals served.

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program do not require student meal applications, therefore all students will receive breakfast and lunch meals at no charge. The School System will receive reimbursement for a complete reimbursable meal per student.  If a student select a partial meal, he/she will be required to pay for those items separately.  Al A Carte items may be purchase at the food prices approved by Mobile County Public School District’s Board of Education.
