The Code of Alabama 1975, Sections 41-16-51 and 16-13B-2. The Act #2011-530 was amended by Act 2016-298, Acts of Alabama, to allow affected entities to purchase goods or services, other than voice or data wireless communication services, from purchasing cooperatives.
The Mobile County School System has access to such contracts for a variety of goods and services. Since these contracts have already been
competitively bid, no further bidding is required. Click on the links below and reference the contract name and number when calling vendor if prices are not already available.However, the proper requisition approval process remains the same and Contract Name and Number must be listed on the requisition/purchase order.
